Identity Developments LLC is a digital marketing consultancy with a focus on SEO (search engine optimization) and web analytics. We believe that every digital marketing program should have these two core elements at their foundation.
Web analytics provides a portal for insights to shape or reshape your marketing strategy, even extending beyond just digital marketing. Businesses today have a wealth of data at their fingertips, yet it often goes un- or under-utilized.
SEO, as one of the purest forms of pull marketing, is the second core element that every business needs to address. While no busy can rely on one marketing channel and we certainly wouldn’t recommend relying solely on organic search, it often presents one of the greatest, most scalable, and affordable of marketing channels for businesses to build out over the long run.
The gains of SEO may not be achievable as quickly as other pay-to-play marketing channels, but when done properly, those gains may stand the test of time long after the efforts are paid for. SEO efforts are often far-reaching compared to the efforts made in other marketing channels because they are often more customer-centric in nature and provide complementary value to your other marketing efforts.
As a consultancy, our primary focus is on evaluation and analysis, leading to insights and strategy development, followed by education. As an agency though, we can also assist those clients who are also in need of strategy implementation.

Prior to forming Identity Developments, Brian served in marketing and sales positions within two divisions of Newell Rubbermaid, Inc., a FORTUNE 300 global manufacturer and marketer of consumer packaged goods and commercial products. In addition to managing a product category with sales in excess of $60million, these positions yielded valuable experiences & skills:

I climbed the ladder in the online marketing department at Intel doing everything from hands-on development to online operations management to global online process and branding training.
In 2000 I hopped to the Midwest to be closer to family and stumbled into a new career in search marketing – specifically SEO. I’ve been working in SEO ever since, managing programs for clients like shoes.com, Ann Taylor, Bush’s Beans, Groupon, and many more.
